|
Black South African Warmblood colt
Born: 2018-09-29 Sadly deceased: 2019-03-26 By Mythos Dionysus (Danzas / De Niro / Weltmeyer / All Fired Up) Out of Lan Crest Versace (Pomme d'Or / Dageraad / Wolfgang) This boy boasts the best of both worlds, with his sire being line bred to the greats, De Niro, Weltmeyer and Donnerhall. His dam carries more jumping bred stallions such as Dageraad, Nimmerdor, Farn, Ramzes and Wolfgang to name a few. This is a strapping young colt, with an uphill built and movement to die for. He expresses fantastic hock and knee action with a proper push forward. |

Lineage
Danzas is an imported Oldenburg licensed stallion by the famous De Niro. Danzas competed in top level in Europe and we were very lucky to acquire such rare bloodline in South Africa. De Niro is ranked number 2 (previously number 1), Weltmeyer is ranked number 42, Donnerhall is currently ranked number 4 of the world dressage sire rankings. |
De Niro, By the year 2000, and at the age of only seven, he was already competing in Grand Prix dressage with Dolf-Dietram Keller – and the following year carried Mr Keller to the title, German Professional Champion. In 2002, De Niro won international Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special tests at Saumur and Berlin, and in 2003, he was the winner of the German Dressage Derby at Hamburg. More recently the young rider, Theresa Wahler has taken the ride on the stallion, competing him at Grand Prix level. As a sire, De Niro has been a huge success. In 1997 he was awarded the 1-a main premium by the Oldenburg Association on the basis of his progeny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=C5oG22IKPc4 |
Weltmeyer is a legend in his own time. He was the winner of his stallion licensing in 1987, National Champion of the 3 year old Riding Horses in 1987, Champion of the DLG in Frankfurt in 1989 and Stallion Conformation Class Champion in Hanover. He has outstanding gaits & rideability, cadenced movement & beautiful suspension & elevation. Weltmeyer’s trademark is to leave powerful horses with impressive conformation, good bone & topline, with excellent rideability. |
Dageraad, who became the first licensed Dutch Warmblood stallion in the country. Ramiro Z, Dageraad’s sire, was unequivocally one of the best show jumping sires the world has ever seen. Dageraad undoubtedly helped raise the bar on the overall standard of warmbloods being bred in this country. Although Dageraad’s lineage is a jumping one, several good dressage horses have also come out of this line.

Nimmerdor clearly excelled at jumping and so began his steady progression onto the world of International Showjumping. Ridden by Albert Vroom, he successfully competed in many World Cups and International Competitions, and he was accordingly invited to the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. Feeling however that the stallion needed to concentrate upon breeding duties, Wiepke declined the invitation. Wiepke certainly knew what he was doing, for Nimmerdor’s progeny have since proven themselves many times the world over. Nimmerdor now of course has a multitude of children including over 50 Approved sons. Ahorn, Daimler, N-Aldato, DBH Heartbreaker, Zadock, Nandor Fortuna and Coronel are but a small example. Nimmerdor also produced over sixty international showjumpers including well-known names such as VDL Everest, Broere Goldenridge, Agrovorm’s Maywood, San Patrignano Avenir and Canadian Colours. Undoubtedly, Nimmerdor is one of the best show-jumper sires of the world. |
