Harley
Harley’s pedigree is among the best for sport and breeding. His sire line contains three international jumping stallions in a row: Heartbreaker, Carthago and Caletto I.
Dam,
Larthago, won several 1.40 m and 1.50 m classes. Larthago is also mother of Cevin Z, who competes in 1.50 m classes and who is approved by the AES studbook. A half sister of Harley’s dam produced Caritano Z, approved by the Zangersheide studbook.
Harley VDL jumps with willingness, take-off and technique. He had exemplary show results with Jessica Kuerten. At the KWPN stallion approvals in Den Bosch he handily won the VHO Trophy. Further he won international classes at La Coruna, Aalst and at Outdoor Gelderland.

He placed 2nd in the Sainte Cecile Grand Prix and took 3rd place in the Neurenberg Grand Prix. As a 7-yr. old he was Champion of the stallion competition 1.30m/1.35m classes. His offspring jump with scope, are fast off the ground and having a very good technique.
Harley: A successful son of
Heartbreaker.

Heartbreaker
is by Nimmerdor, out of a mare by the international showjumping stallion, Silvano
Despite his jumping success Silvano was little used by the breeders, but mares by him have produced many competitors
Heartbreaker commenced his international career in 1.40 classes. In 1968, ridden by the Dutch rider, Peter Geerink, he won the Nations Cup at Falsterbo, and finished third in the Grand Prix of Hamburg, Rotterdam and Geesteren. The following year, they were fourth in the Grand Prix of London and fourth in the Grand Prix at Aachen. He was the winner of the Stallion Showjumping class at Zwolle. He finished his career with a win at Dortmund.

Quartz d’Eclipse
started his competitive career when he was overcome by African Horse Sickness. Although many great things was expected of him, it could never become a reality.
However, his foals prove to be exactly what caliber of stallion he was, they all have his most incredible temperament, three very good basic paces and a fantastic jump.
Quartz d’Eclipse comes from a line of champions on both sides and, on breeding alone, has the potential to be one of the finest stallions ever imported into SA.

His sire,
Quidam de Revel, is unquestionably one of the best stallions in the world.  His covering fee is now 4000eu and he was cloned in 2005. His most successful offspring in 2006 were Quibell and Eve des Etisse. Quidam himself was best represented at WEG in Aachen as well as through his sons, Nabab de Reve and Guidam (sire of silver medallist, Authentic).

Quidam de Revel WBFSH showjumping rankings are as follows:
2008 he was ranked number 2.
2009 he was ranked number 2.
2010 he was ranked number 3.
2011 he was ranked number 6.
2012 he was ranked number 7.
2013 he was ranked number 17.
2014 he was ranked number 10.
2015 he was ranked number 11.

Cassini l

Cassini I
(nr 4 stallion in the World Rankings) is the best Holstein has to offer at this moment. Cassini I is the sire of Cumano, individual World Champion and Eurocommerce Berlin, gold medal winner with the Dutch team at WEG.
N-Violet, the dam of Quartz has had 3 foals by Quidam de Revel and one Caretino who are still young but look very promising.  Through her dam-line, N-Violet is directly related to the International showjumpers Crash; Caruso Rex; Henderson Curtis and the approved stallions, Malthusand Furst Ramses.
Polly Patent is the dam of Grand Prix show-jumpers Lesotho and Lacosta, who with Margie Goldstein won the coveted Rider of the Year award in the USA and twice qualified for the World Cup finals.

Wachmann III bred the most A grade showjumpers in South Africa, followed by his dam sire Dolerit. Both Wachmann III and Dolerit sired Derby winners.
