He is purpose bred for jumping but as Caliente has shown on numerous occasions, all his foals have exquisite movement and very correct conformation. Caliente LC was exported to continue his career in the big circuits. We are thrilled to have been able to combine Caliente’s line with Lassiters and wow this combination was a huge success! Chiron is sure to reach the top in his show jumping career. |

Lineage
Galoubet A is currently ranked 67th on the WBFSH rankings of show jumping. He is also the sire of Baloubet du Rouet who is ranked 1st, and Quick star who is ranked 4th! Calido 1 is ranked 82nd. Ahorn is number 90. Nelson v/d Helle himself is also a Grand Prix show jumper.
Cynric's sire, Calido l, came fourth out of 53 in his group with a score of 129.05, but he was first in the jumping standings with 140.40 and 9th in the dressage rankings on 114.30. His jumping scores included a score of 10. In 1996 he won 22 showjumping classes up to intermediate level. Calido was the standout sire in the jumping at the 2004 Bundeschampionate, siring the winner of the Five year old jumping championship, Coster and the reserve champion, Clintwood with a third representative, Celine making it through to the final. Calido’s dam, Baroness, is by Coriander, who despite his jumping breeding made something of a name for himself as a dressage horse with Wolfgang Schade. This is not entirely unexpected since his grand-sire, Calypso II although primarily a jumper also produced horses with great rideability. Baroness is also the dam of the licensed stallion Black Incipit (an advanced showjumper) as well as the intermediate jumper, Cantango. Through his sire, Cantus, Calido also carries the refining blood of the great Thoroughbred sire, Cottage Son through his son, Consul. There is further refinement on Calido’s dam line with the blood of the Thoroughbred, Anblick, through his son Aldato, who was the first stallion in Holstein to open up the possibility of breeding world class eventers. Right from the start, Calido I was a success at stud, and was almost immediately awarded the highest FN breeding ranking. His eldest progeny are already internationally successful including. In the 2010, Hanoverian Stallion book, Calido is recorded with progeny earnings of €1,781,278, with 708 progeny competing in jumping, with 168 at advanced levels. He has an FN jumping index of 150 and a dressage ranking of 112. On the basis of the Hanoverian mare and auction tests, he has a dressage score of 109 and a jumping rank of 163 which puts him 4th on the Hanoverian jumping standings. Cantus was for 15 years one of the most successful showjumping sires – with horses like Come On, Calvaro with Willi Melliger. The horses by Cantus were very powerful and easy to ride, sometimes not the prettiest horses, but very willing to perform. Caletto I appears in 65th place on the 2006 Monneron rankings. Cantus was a very tall stallion with enormous presence. Very sharp jumper and a very good mover. Cantus sired many international jumpers including Calvaro. Cantus had 28 licensed sons. Cor de la Bryère is the stallion that revolutionised jumping horse breeding. His name is the one astute breeders like to see. Although best known as a sire of jumping horses, Cor de la Bryère was also the sire of Corlandus, a World Cup Dressage Champion in 1989, and his sons Calypso I and Calypso II have proven useful sires of dressage horses. Former German Olympic team member, Chacomo ridden by Alexandra Simons de Ridder was by Calypso I, as was Alexandra’s other FEI star, Champus. In the WBFSH ratings for 1992/2001, Cor de la Bryère is ranked 18th with 28 points earning progeny Ahorn Z competed internationally as did his licensed sons Acord I, Amaro, Antares and Aar. His successful progeny include Lord Arico, Acapulco and Dobel’s Gettina. Esprit de Conquette, the sire of Nelson van de Helle, is out of one of the best Selle Francais dam-lines. He is the full brother to the International stallion, Calypso d’Herbriers, winner of the French Derby with Herve Godignon. Lafayette (Michel Robert’s Olympic horse) is a full brother to Niobe d’Orvault, (dam of Esprit de Conquette). During his short breeding career in Belgium, Esprit de Conquette produced top class showjumpers like Marmot v/d Helle; Vainqueur v/d Veldkruis; Manado D (Gareth Neill) and Nelson v/d Helle’s full brother, the approved SBS stallion, Master van de Helle (very successful in the 1.50m classes with Nils Candon). Delphine de Beine, the dam of Nelson, is by Galoubet A, (sire of super stars such as Baloubet du Rouet; Quick Star; Quiniou and Credo de Paulstra) out of a proven dam-line, that produced International horses like Gin Tonic Star (3/4 brother to the dam of Nelson) - sold to Thomas Velin, the owner of Quidam de Revel, for an astronomical amount; the stallion Desir du Chateau and the International Grand Prix winner,Itot du Chatteau (Michel Hecart) are all from the same dam-line as Nelson van de Helle Galoubet A is currently ranked 67th on the WBFSH rankings of show jumping. He is also the sire of Baloubet du Rouet who is ranked 1st in 2015 at the WBFSH, and Quick star who is ranked 4th! Calido 1 is ranked 82nd. Ahorn is number 90. Nelson v/d Helle himself is also a Grand Prix show jumper. Baloubet du Rouet set a record that is unlikely to be bettered, winning three World Cup Finals in a row, 1998, 1999, 2000, and narrowly missed out of a fourth in 2001! |
Lacapo, who was licensed in Holstein in 1982. In Dr. Dietrich Rossow’s Holsteiner Breed Book, Lacapo is described as a “medium sized stallion with good expression and beautiful neck carriage… a very good mover. Offspring of medium frame with beautiful faces and lots of appeal. Very good movers.” Lacapo hails from the world famous Holstein stallion and “sire of the century,” Landgraf I. Landgraf’s list of show jumping progeny is endless, producing names like Freestyle (aka Lalique): winner of the Grand Prix at Aachen; Libero: the five time Dutch National Champion and ’94 World Cup winner; Linaro: 1991 Champion Holsteiner Stallion; and Landadel: 1985 100 Day Test Champion at Medingen and a sire in his own right of top dressage and jumping offspring.re to edit.

Coriander
Licenced Holsteiner Stallion Born 1982 - 169cm Fabulous mind! Proven producer of champion riding horses. Very high in FN ratings year after year. What can you say about the stallion who can do it all? Dressage, jumping and driving. This was proven at the Holsteiner gala evening show. Coriander was jumped, changed saddles and did a Grand Prix test, and lastly was driven…all to the crowd’s cheers! Coriander is probably best known and respected for producing the quietest minds in Holstein. He ranked as the leading sire of sporthorses for all of Germany in his age group three years in a row. He’ll produce elastic movers with deep and effective shoulders. Coriander is included in this elite list of stallions for his consistent production of stallion sons and approved daughters. |
Lord (1967) was a winner of Körung, had excellent results at sports, and sired several successful sport horses and stallions. Lord is 75% thoroughbred, the outstanding qualities of Ladykiller xx and Cottage Son xx mingled in him, so he always transmitted his good type and excellent talents. Although Lord won the 1969 Holsteiner stallion approval, it was a controversial decision in the light of his conformational defects, and perhaps as a result of this Lord was at first not used greatly as a stallion, although he was one of the early stallions to jump successfully in competition
Dr Dietrich Rossow in his Stallion Book of the Holsteiner Warmblood Breed, was somewhat cautious about Lord: “Lord was himself a successful 3 day horse. He is not a consistent producer. We see tall horses with big heads and also refined, sometimes small mares with beautiful heads. All his get are endowed with enormous score over fences. His best offspring are products of crosses with refined mares. Today, Lord is more likely to be found in the dam lines since no stallion line has really emerged to carry on his influence. |
Ladykiller, 1961 Bay Stallion, 16.1hh (164cm)
Sire: Sailing Light xx Dam: Lone Beech xx Ladykiller xx clearly transmitted his marked type, magnificent head, correct and powerful foundation and excellent jumping ability in regards to capacity, manner of jumping, leg technique and above all spirit. His sons, Landgraf I and Lord, are some of the most influential stallions to date. He also sired other great stallions including Lorenz, Lagos, Ladalco and Lamour. Today it is almost a requirement that a horse from Holstein carries two or three times the invaluable foundation sire Ladykiller xx's blood |
Landgraf l, 1966 Bay Stallion, 16.2hh (168cm)
Sire: Ladykiller (xx) Dam: Warthburg (Holst) By the end of the 1980's, Landgraf I was rated best amongst all sires that had stood at stud in West Germany, and his sons can be found in most breeding regions throughout the world. Landgraf I became the most important sire of show jumpers in the twentieth century having sired the most money winning show jumping offspring in the World. |
Wachmann III bred the most A grade showjumpers in South Africa, followed by his dam sire Dolerit. Both Wachmann III and Dolerit sired Derby winners.
He is the sire of well over 30 open grade showjumpers, including Alzu Woodlands (who won in South Africa, the USA and Canada) and the 2008 Avis South African Derby winner, Warrangal P. He has been the top producer of A-grade horses in South Africa for many years, siring more open horses than any other Warmblood stallion in SA and Namibia. In addition, his sons Walkabout, Wunderbar, and Wedekind, have themselves sired A-grades. Not only has he proven himself as the most consistent sire of top showjumpers over many years, but his daughters have also given him the distinction of being a top dam sire of showjumpers. |
